Football expert named new Nordic Storm GM
Florian Puth

As Week 7 approaches, Nordic Storm has announced a significant leadership change: the young franchise has appointed Bjorn Stadil as its new General Manager - a strategic decision aimed at solidifying the team's foundation as it continues to rise within the European League of Football.
Right in their first season in the ELF, Nordic Storm is putting in some awesome performances and is the only team with a 5-0 record after Week 6 without a defeat.

Stadil's résumé spans nearly every role in the sport - from player and coach to commentator and behind-the-scenes contributor. "That versatility, honed over decades of involvement in American football across the Nordic region, makes him a natural fit to take on broader leadership responsibilities with the Storm."
He replaces Palle Navntoft Christensen, who is stepping down following a board decision. "The organization acknowledges the contributions Palle has made in the early stages of the club's development, which have helped bring the project to the level we see today", says a statement of the franchise.
Convincing vision for Nordic Storm
Club owner and chairman of the board, Michael Weidick Planeta, describes Stadil as the clear and logical choice to lead the team forward: "Bjørn comes with a background as an entrepreneur and has tried several times to build an organization from scratch with great success. Bjørn has also been a major driving force behind Nordic Storm and already knows a lot about the operational side before he got the offer to become our new GM. His clear vision for the future was particularly convincing, which the board supports and looks forward to becoming a reality", explains Planetta.
Bjorn Stadil will watch his first game as General Manager on June 28 at 6 p.m. CET against the Helvetic Mercenaries.
