Final Playoff Picture after Week 14: Who's In and Who's Out?

After fourteen weeks of the 2024 European League of Football regular season, the playoff picture is finally clear. Let’s take a look at who made it.

Semi-Finalists:

1) Vienna Vikings (12-0):

The Vienna Vikings had a bye week in Week 14. As the only undefeated team, they secured the top playoff seed, which also gives them a bye in the Wildcard Round. They will play in the Semi-Finals against the lowest-seeded winner from the Wildcard Round.

2) Stuttgart Surge (11-1):

The Stuttgart Surge secured the second playoff seed after a dominant 61-7 win against the Helvetic Mercenaries in Week 14. Like the Vikings, they also get a bye in the Wildcard Round and will face the higher-seeded winner from the Wildcard Round in the Semi-Finals.

Wildcard Round:

Madrid Bravos (#6) at Rhein Fire (#3):

The Madrid Bravos managed to sneak into the playoffs after a convincing 63-13 win over the Hamburg Sea Devils and the Raiders Tirol's loss to the Munich Ravens. The Bravos will now face Rhein Fire, who had a bye week but dropped to the third playoff seed due to a tiebreaker with Stuttgart Surge. Rhein Fire lost the tiebreaker because of the total points difference.

Munich Ravens (#5) at Paris Musketeers (#4):

The Munich Ravens not only knocked the Raiders Tirol out of the playoffs with their 30-3 win but also secured the fifth playoff seed. They now face the Paris Musketeers, who comfortably beat the Frankfurt Galaxy. The Musketeers will host the Ravens in what promises to be a tough matchup, as the Ravens have shown they are a team to watch out for.
