Fehérvár Enthroners sign offensive coordinator Shawn Cooper

Shawn Cooper becomes the offensive coordinator for the Fehérvár Enthroners. Cooper joins Mark Ridley's staff as the Enthroners look to retool for their next season in the ELF.

Cooper brings with him an impressive resume from College football’s NAIA scene spending nine seasons at Arizona Christian University as wide receiver coach, passing game coordinator, and recruiting coordinator. In his ACU time, he has also served as the Director of Operations, Travel Coordinator, Video Coordinator, and Quality Control Assistant.

"I am truly blessed and beyond grateful to join the Fehérvár Enthroners as the offensive  coordinator. First and foremost, I give thanks to God for this incredible opportunity. I also want to extend my sincere gratitude to the Enthroners’ management and to Mark for believing in me and entrusting me with this role." - Shawn Cooper

Cooper helped ACU win four conference titles and coached three All-Americans, making the NAIA playoff twice, with top ten offenses in yards and points.

The 40-year-old coach is no stranger to Europe or the ELF, having served as the offensive coordinator last season for the Barcelona Dragons for the first four weeks of the season.

"American football is a sport like no other, and to be part of its continued growth in Europe is a tremendous honor. I fully share in the vision of building a championship foundation and culture, both on and off the field. I look forward to meeting the players, embracing the Enthroners’ passionate fan base, and becoming a part of the Fehérvár community." -Shawn Cooper

The Fehérvár Enthroners have already signed receiver Rashad Still to help Cooper on offense, as well as a flurry of defensive signings. One question that remains in Hungary is who will be the Enthroners QB for 2025?
