Fehérvár Enthroners sign a new starting Quarterback
The Fehérvár Enthroners have presented their new starting quarterback. US-American Brock Domann will take over the most important position in the offense next season. The 26-year-old has signed a one-year contract.
"After great conversations with Mark Ridgley and Shawn Cooper, the Enthroners feel like the best option for me professionally and personally, and I couldn’t be more grateful to join this organization and help them compete!", says Domann.
His career as a professional athlete began early on. Domann comes from a family heavily involved in sport. His mother works for the US Olympic Committee, his father as an NFL agent. Domann's older brother played passionately as a cornerback.
The new Enthroner star's career began at Led Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs, which he led to three city championships. He then transferred to Ventura College, with whom he won a Southern California Football Association Championship.
Domann impressed as a strong pocket passer with strong athleticism at the same time. Skills that still define him today. However, the quarterback had to earn his way into the top college league.
Brock Domann managed to make the leap to Division I University of Louisville via Campbell University (2020) and Independence Community College (2021). In Louisville, Domann totaled 958 yards and four touchdowns in nine games (four as a starter).
After his time at college, he decided to leave the states and move to Europe. Last season, he signed with the Dresden Monarchs to prove his talent in the German Football League. Now a new chapter begins for Domann, who enjoys playing board games and poker in his spare time - this time in Hungary and in the European League of Football.
Here he takes on the role of John Mangel, who led the Enthroners to a 2-10 record last season.
