European League of Football schedules playoff weekends
End of the regular season brings even more joy! The European League of Football enters the hot phase of the 2023 season with the upcoming play-offs, qualifying the six best football teams in Europe for a chance to perform in the Championship Game at the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena in Duisburg on September 24.
Everyone also looked at two more attendance records in Week 14, with both Berlin Thunder (6,048 fans) and Frankfurt Galaxy (10,027 fans) breaking the previous records set in all previous seasons. In addition, more than 2.5 million unique users were reached via META.
"Last weekend showed us once again the incredible potential of American football. Fans can look forward to fireworks not only on but also off the field during the playoffs!" said Patrick Esume, Commissioner of the ELF.
Now the European League of Football has scheduled the fixtures for the wildcard as well as semifinal rounds:
Wildcard Round:
Saturday, September 9, 3.15 PM (CEST) - Berlin Thunder at Frankfurt Galaxy
Sunday, September 10, 2.15 PM (CEST) - Wrocław Panthers at Stuttgart Surge
Semi-Finals:
Saturday, September 16, 2.15 PM (CEST) – Highest Remaining Seed at Vienna Vikings.
Sunday, September 17, 2.15 PM (CEST) – Lowest Remaining seed at Rhein Fire
All postseason games will be broadcast by ProSiebenMaxx, while the season finale will be shown live by ProSieben for the first time in young history. Fans can look forward to a true football festival throughout the Championship Game weekend.
