European League of Football achieves season's best TV ratings!

Full speed ahead to the Championship Game! The European League of Football is pleased with strong viewer figures both in the stadiums and in front of the TV in both Semifinal games in Vienna and Duisburg. With up to 4.3 percent market share in the advertising-relevant target group on German TV partner ProSiebenMaxx and in front of a record crowd of more than 10,000 fans at the Generali Arena in Vienna, there was a clear increase on the previous year.

Biggest football final setting since 2007

Now, on September 24, the two finalists Rhein Fire and Stuttgart Surge are looking ahead to the biggest football final setting in Europe since 2007, with a sold-out Schauinsland-Reisen Arena and 31,500 fans expected.

"We are heading towards the pinnacle of the season and ultimately in the history of our league. The playoffs have provided a great taste of what we will see in the Championship Game, both athletically and in the stands. It will be a celebration for everyone who loves the sport. We will have a huge party with all football fans this weekend and I am excited to see who will hold the trophy in their hands at the end," emphasizes Zeljko Karajica, Managing Director of the European League of Football.

Football festival ahead

On game day, the FAN-HUDDLE will start at the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena event area at 10 AM. At 3.30 PM, the two best teams in Europe will then meet. For the first time in the short history of the European League of Football, the match will be broadcast live on TV on ProSieben.

However, fans from all over Europe can also look forward to a great football festival in advance. Already on Saturday, the program starts at noon with the free FIBO Football Family Day at the event area at the stadium. Afterwards, the Viva Con Agua Charity Flag Football Game for a good cause will start in the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena. In exchange for a donation ticket, fans have the opportunity here to experience the game inside the arena and support water projects in Uganda at the same time. Another highlight will be the STETSON Honors Show on the evening of September 23. Here, fans will meet the most important protagonists of the ELF to honor the best players and coaches of the current season.
