Enthroners sign College-Star Emmit Gooden

Just before Christmas, the Fehérvár Enthroners are giving their fans an early present. Defensive end Emmit Gooden will play for the Hungarian team next season.

After Malik Crenshaw, Gooden is the second US import the Enthroners have introduced this offseason. Born in Brownsville, Tennessee, Gooden began playing football at Haywood High School. He then attended Independence Community College.

Here, he not only became a star of the Netflix series “Last Chance U,” but also a star on the field. Gooden made the NJCAA Second All-American Team after totaling 81 tackles, six and half tackles for loss, and one sack.

In 2022, he decided to move to the Finnish Maple League. He performed well with the Seinäjoki Crocodiles and was named Defensive Player of the Year. In 2023, he also played for the Reyes de Jalisco in Mexico. Gooden excelled here as well and was selected to the All-Star Team.

Now he can be seen in the ELF. Quarterbacks watch out.
