Enthroners secure Homegrown talent
The Fehérvár Enthroners have extended the contracts of three homegrown players. Linebacker Benedek Bodnár, cornerback Bendek Horváth and running back Kende Ráthonyi will remain with the team.
Bodnár therefore will face his third ELF season and also his third with the Enthroners. The 24-years Hungarian instantly earned himself a regular starter role in the Defense. In his 22 ELF games, Bodnar collected 136 tackles, including 11,5 for loss and 3,5 sacks. He also recorded an interception and two recovered fumbles, making him one of the bright spots of his defense.
Horváth is also facing his third season with the team. Similar to Bodnar, the 24-years-old also earned himself a starter role quickly. Last season, Horváth was hold back by injuries. In the upcoming season, the Homegrown want to prove his great potential from his first season.
For their offense, the Enthroners keep Kende Ráthonyi. The 26-years-old gave his ELF debut in 2022 for the Vienna Vikings. 2023 he moved to the Enthroners. After a season mostly used as back-up, Ráthonyi had his breakthrough last season, started nine out of twelve games.
