ELF stars in Super Bowl fever: Here are the predictions

The Super Bowl is right around the corner. Certainly the grand final of the NFL is a topic among the ELF stars as well. Opinions are quite split among Jadrian Clark and Co. about how will will the Lombardi Trophy this year: the Philadelphia Eagles or the reigning champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jadrian Clark, quarterback of the Nordic Storm and two-time Championship Game MVP, believes this is the Eagles’ year to soar, predicting a revenge win over the Chiefs. "I think the Chiefs are vulnerable against the run, and Saquon Barkley is going to have an amazing game", Clark explains, highlighting the Eagles' ground game as the key to victory.

"Too much on the line for the Eagles"

Javarian Smith (Prague Lions) is sharing that opinion: "Too much on the line for the Eagles to come up short", he says, pointing to the team’s hunger after falling short in previous seasons.

Omari Williams, three-time ELF Champion and one of the key players for the Rhein Fire, keeps it simple but powerful: "Eagles to break up the Chiefs dynasty."

For Austin Mitchell (Paris Musketeers), it's all about the star power of Saquon. "Eagles will win because Saquon is just too elite", he says, emphasizing the recently crowned NFL OPOY.

However, not all ELF players are counting out Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs'. Tomiwa Oyewo, who has recently signed with the Stuttgart Surge, firmly believes Kansas City will take the win. "Defense knows how to answer everything, and the offense knows how to win when it’s time. Mahomes going for the 3-peat for suuureee”, Oyewo predicts.

"They are the more experienced team"

Russell Tabor (Munich Ravens) takes a very pragmatic approach: "Gotta go with the Chiefs until proven otherwise." It’s hard to argue with a team that has consistently performed at the highest level in recent years.

Devan Burrell (Wroclaw Panthers) echoes that sentiment, emphasizing the Chiefs' experience. "They are the more experienced team with a crazy D-line and Mahomes as QB. They’ll play together as a team through all four quarters", Burrell explains, betting on Kansas City's ability to handle pressure on Football’s biggest stage.

Adding a fun twist to the predictions, Reid Sinnett (Vienna Vikings) finds himself in a bit of a household rivalry. "I think if I had to pick, I think the Chiefs are gonna win", he starts, before a voice from behind interrupts with a loud "Go Birds!". Sinnett chuckles, "I guess it’s Go Birds", showing that sometimes, home-field advantage starts right in your living room.

And finally, in true fan fashion, Sinnett’s teammate Reece Horn keeps it short and sweet: "Fly - Eagles - Fly."

But it’s not just the players making predictions. Patrick Esume, ELF Commissioner and NFL expert, already shared his prediction two weeks ago - before the final Super Bowl participants were even set. He predicted a matchup between the Chiefs and the Eagles, with Mahomes leading the Chiefs to yet another victory. "If it’s money on the line, never bet against the 15", Esume stated, referencing to Mahomes' jersey number. Let's see, if Nr. 15 delivers another time on Sunday.
