ELF Honors 2024: The Overview
Once again this year, players and coaches will be honored for their performances during the regular season in 11 different categories. The ELF Honors will take place the day before the final, just like last year.
Starting from September 9, the nominees for each category will be revealed daily. But first, let’s take a look at the categories that will be awarded.
This award goes to the best assistant coach of the season. The recipient has shown outstanding leadership, strategy, and support, significantly contributing to the team's success.
Eligibility: Any assistant coach is eligible to win this award.
This award is given to the best first-year defensive player. The winner has made a big impact on the field, showcasing great skills, effort, and potential throughout the season.
Eligibility: A defensive player in his first season in the ELF, born after September 22, 2000.
This award honors the best first-year offensive player. The winner has shown exceptional talent, performance, and promise, making significant contributions to the team's offense.
Eligibility: An offensive player in his first season in the ELF, born after September 22, 2000.
This award recognizes the best player on special teams. The recipient has excelled in roles like kicking, punting, or returning, making crucial plays that have helped the team win games.
Eligibility: All kickers, punters, and returners are eligible to win this award.
This award is given to the best defensive player of the season. The winner has demonstrated outstanding performance, leadership, and consistency, making key plays to stop the opposing team.
Eligibility: Any defensive player is eligible to win this award.

This award honors the best offensive player of the season. The recipient has shown remarkable skill, effort, and production, leading the team's offense with exceptional plays and consistency.
Eligibility: Any offensive player is eligible to win this award.
This award goes to the best overall first-year player. The winner has made a huge impact on both sides of the ball, showing great potential and becoming a key player for the team.
Eligibility: A player in their first season in the ELF, born after September 22, 2000.
This award recognizes the best local player who has grown up in the team's area. The recipient has shown exceptional talent, dedication, and pride in representing their home region.
Eligibility: Any homegrown player is eligible for this award. A Homegrown Player is someone who played their first organized American Football in the country of the ELF team for at least one full season and continues to play in the ELF.
This award is given to the best head coach of the season. The winner has led the team to great success, demonstrating excellent leadership, strategy, and ability to inspire players.
Eligibility: Any head coach is eligible to win this award.
This award honors the most valuable player of the season. The recipient has shown outstanding performance, leadership, and impact on the field, playing a crucial role in the team's success.
Eligibility: Any player is eligible to win this award.
This award recognizes a player who has shown exceptional character, sportsmanship, and contribution both on and off the field. The winner is a role model, making a positive impact in the community and the sport.
Eligibility: Each team selects the player who best represents these values. From these players, the Man of the Year is chosen.
On September 21, the winners in each category will be announced at the ELF Honors.
