ELF and Bundeswehr continue cooperation

The European League of Football and the Bundeswehr are continuing their successful cooperation in the 2025 season. As an "Official Career Partner", the Bundeswehr will stand alongside the "Champions League" of European football and will once again be responsible for presenting the pre-game ceremony at the Championship Game on September 7 in the MHP Arena in Stuttgart.

"We are delighted to continue our cooperation with the Bundeswehr. It stands for responsibility, commitment and teamwork. Attributes that are of course also fundamental for success in football. Together we can reach young people who are looking for career prospects and challenges," says Zeljko Karajica, Managing Director of the European League of Football.

"Whether technology, medicine, IT or logistics and much more - the Bundeswehr offers a broad spectrum of deployment and development opportunities in uniform and in civilian clothes. The partnership with the ELF helps us to make these opportunities visible where team spirit and motivation come together. Combining sport and vocation is achieved in this collaboration in a particularly authentic way," says First Lieutenant Marvin Euteneuer, Event Manager for career events of the Bundeswehr.

Presence at the Championship Game

The focus of the partnership is to showcase attractive career and development opportunities - whether be it on the pitch or in service to the country. Both organizations focus on discipline,
commitment and the strength of a functioning team. These are all values that characterize both football and the Bundeswehr.

The Bundeswehr will not only be present on site at selected match days, but will also be at the Championship Game on September 7 in the "living room" of VfB Stuttgart. In addition to information stands and the career mobile, there will once again be numerous opportunities to talk directly with career advisors from the Bundeswehr.

16 franchises from nine nations will be at the start of ELF's upcoming season: Rhein Fire, Berlin Thunder, Hamburg Sea Devils, Munich Ravens, Stuttgart Surge, Frankfurt Galaxy, Cologne Centurios (all Germany), Vienna Vikings, Raiders Tirol (both Austria), Fehérvár Enthroners (Hungary), Panthers Wroclaw (Poland), Prague Lions (Czech Republic), Helvetic Mercenaries (Switzerland), Madrid Bravos (Spain), Paris Musketeers (France) and newcomer Nordic Storm (Denmark).
