ELF 2025: Raising the bar in live sports production
ELF Communications

The 2025 season was another milestone year for the European League of Football (ELF). On the field, fans witnessed thrilling games - off the field, the ELF once again set new benchmarks in sports broadcasting. With 100 games produced, the league proved its ability to deliver world-class, innovative, and fan-focused live coverage.
Record-breaking remote production
For the first time in league history, over 70% of all games (72 matches) were produced remotely - efficient, flexible, and with cutting-edge technology. Only 28 games relied on traditional OB van setups, marking a shift that underlines the ELF’s pioneering role in sports media.
For the first time German partner ProSiebenSat.1 aired three fully remote-produced games on FTA channel ProSieben MAXX – two from Paris and one from Copenhagen – without an OB van on site.
Fans also enjoyed the popular "ELF Zone" - a live conference format with in-game switches across parallel matches - 22 times throughout the season.
With a total of 12 broadcast cameras plus additional technology for the first ever Halftime Show, the ELF Championship Game 2025 featured the most extensive coverage in league history.
