What a season to be a Bravos fan. The Madrid team won today against the Galaxy and officially secured their playoff spot. One of the main reasons for their success this season has been the dynamic and record breaking play of first year ELF receiver Aron Cruickshank.
Triple crown record breaker
Cruickshank has not only broken the ELF single season record for receiving yards with 1,729 receiving touchdowns with 20 and receptions with 122. The former Wisconsin and Rutgers University standout has been the league's most productive pass catcher by a wide margin this season.
Cruickshank passed ELF legends such as Kyle Sweet (2022) (115 receptions) Markell Castle (2023) receiving yards and touchdowns (1,560 and 17 touchdowns) en-route to his historic season.
A historic offense
Quarterback Reid Sinnett and Cruickshank have led one of the best passing offenses the league has ever seen as the Bravos have been one of the most fun teams to watch this summer throwing for over 350 yards a game (1st in the league) and scoring over 40 points per game. Quarterback Reid Sinnett also broke the single season record for passing yards in a season with 3,853 yards.
They will travel to Stuttgart to face the Surge in the first round of the playoffs next weekend in a highly anticipated matchups.
