Cologne Centurions start 2025 ELF season with new owners

The Cologne Centurions from the European League of Football are setting the course for a successful future: Kevin Tewe, a well-known German entrepreneur whose expertise lies in brand development, media and marketing, is joining the management structure of the Cologne franchise. In future, Tewe will work alongside Senad Mecavica as Chief of Brand and Co-Owner. Together, the two want to develop the organisation strategically and economically in the long term and establish it in the "Champions League" of European football.

Senad Mecavica is Managing Director of Munich-based Novel Media GmbH, an agency for branding, content and influencer relations that supports well-known brands and personalities from the worlds of business, culture and sport. With his entrepreneurial experience, a strong sense of branding and digital communication as well as his passion for American football, Mecavica will provide decisive impetus for the further development of the franchise.

"Get off to a new start"

Kevin Tewe is the founder and Managing Director of the successful agency "ALL IN: Creator Economy: Unlocked!" In this role, he has helped shape numerous careers in the music and entertainment sector and built up a broad, cross-industry network. He is now bringing his experience in the emotional development of brands, company development and communication to Centurions - with a clear focus on professionalisation, sustainable growth and emotional fan loyalty.

"I am delighted that we have been able to recruit Kevin Tewe for this central role at the Centurions and that I have him at my side. He not only brings entrepreneurial expertise and creative drive, but above all an enormous passion for the sport. With his energy and his network, we want to get off to a new start - both on and off the pitch", says Senad Mecavica, Owner and Managing Director of the Cologne Centurions.

"The Centurions stand for passion, team spirit and ambition"

"The Centurions stand for passion, team spirit and ambition - values that I identify with 100 per cent. I see enormous potential in this project and want to use my experience to help take the organisation to the next level. It's not just about football, but about inspiring people and further anchoring the Centurions brand in Cologne and beyond", says Kevin Tewe, Co-Owner and Managing Director of Cologne Centurions.

Kevin Tewe has an excellent network in the cultural and media landscape as well as in the business world. This will be utilised in future to forge new partnerships, organise events and further increase the visibility of the Centurions in the region. The aim is to strengthen the franchise not only in sporting terms, but also as a brand in the long term. With the new management duo, the Cologne Centurions are embarking on a fresh chapter - ambitious, professional and with a clear vision.
