Charlie Eger named new Offensive Coordinator of the Raiders Tirol

Charlie Eger will remain with the Raiders Tirol. The US-American will retain his position as offensive line coach and will also become the new offensive coordinator - a role he has already held in the XFL with the Vegas Vipers as well as at college level.

In the NFL, Eger also worked as a guest coach for the St. Louis Rams from 2013 to 2015 and for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2016 to 2017. He then joined the Raiders ahead of last season. A decision that will be for a longer time.

"Bringing Coach Eger back was one of our highest priorities right after the season ended. Coach Eger is a tremendous football mind," says Raiders General Manager Ulz Däuber. He continues: "More importantly, he is an amazing teacher and builds strong relationships with everyone around him. Coach Eger has the gift of making players better in every aspect of life. I'm excited to see our offense flourish under his guidance."
