Championship Game 2025 to take place on 7 September
To ensure that the final of the European League of Football 2025 in Stuttgart's MHP Arena is the best possible experience for all spectators and participants, the league and VfB Stuttgart have decided to bring forward the date of the grand final from Sunday, 14 September 2025 to Sunday, 7 September 2025.
This step was necessary in order to avoid potential scheduling conflicts with VfB Stuttgart's match operations. This is the only way to ensure that the stadium and all necessary resources are fully available for the ultimate football experience on this weekend.
Tickets already purchased will of course remain valid for the new date.
Next year's Championship Game is expected to set the next ELF attendance record. At the final of the 2024 season in Gelsenkirchen, 41,364 spectators witnessed the first back-to-back champions Rhein Fire's commanding victory over the Vienna Vikings, who had been unbeaten in the season up to that point. This pulverised the previous record of 32,500 spectators in the clash between the Sea Devils and Rhein Fire at Hamburg's Volksparkstadion on 11 June 2023.
