Centurions without chance against Bravos

Cologne Centurions (3-5) at Madrid Bravos (6-2) 0-37

The Cologne Centurions aimed to continue their winning streak after two consecutive victories and were hoping to steer towards the playoffs. However, the Madrid Bravos were also eager to return to the winning track after a loss to the Musketeers - and that's what they showed. It was clear from the beginning which team was more composed and capable of handling the pressure.

The Bravos demonstrated their determination to win and secure their playoff spot. By the end of the first quarter, the score was 0-14 after two strong drives by the Bravos. The Centurions, on the other hand, showed early nerves with an interception thrown by quarterback Isaiah Weed. This pattern continued throughout the game. Madrid consistently moved the ball down the field, while Cologne's offense struggled against Bravos' defense. Isaiah Weed's four interceptions symbolized the strong defensive performance by the Bravos, ensuring the game was never close.

This strong defensive play allowed Bravos' quarterback Steven Duncan to deliver a solid performance with 189 total yards and 3 total touchdowns, leading the offense to success against the Centurions.

In Week 11, both teams face conference matchups. The Madrid Bravos will host the Hamburg Sea Devils, while the Cologne Centurions will welcome the Frankfurt Galaxy.
