Can Jack Del Rio's defense lead Paris to new heights?

The Paris Musketeers are one of the most interesting teams in the ELF this 2025 season. The Musketeers have had high such as defeating the Stuttgart Surge and lows such as a loss to Frankfurt on the road.
The French squad currently sits at 3-2 in a very tough West Division. They have pivotal wins over the one-loss Stuttgart Surge and wins over Frankfurt and Rhein.
Defense, defense, defense
One constant for the Musketeers has been the defensive side of the ball. Whether it was shutting out the Stuttgart Surge, holding the Rhein Fire to seven points, or smothering the Galaxy last week the Musketeers defense is undoubtedly the strength of their team.
The team speed on defense seems to be among the league’s best. New safety Souleyman Karamoko has been one of the leaders on defense as he has 44 tackles through 5 games.

X Factor Austin Mitchell
Mitchell was last season with 14 touchdowns and just over one thousand receiving yards. This year he hasn’t quite met that level statically through 4 games. However, he seemed to have a breakout game against Frankfurt, exploding for several big plays and finishing the day with 147 yards and 1 touchdown. If the speedster can be an All-Star level returner and receiver it will be a huge lift for Paris.
A championship ceiling?
If Paris can put together an explosive offense and new quarterback Jaylon Henderson can avoid turnovers Paris could be a title contender. An elite defense led by former NFL head coach Jack Del Rio, paired with a versatile and explosive offense could be what the Musketeers need to hoist the trophy in Stuttgart this September.
