Calderón falls two yards short of record
The Barcelona Dragons and Milano Seamen delivered an absolute highlight game to close out their season. The Milano Seamen ultimately won the game 57-36, ending their season on a positive note.
It had been a mostly quiet season for last year's Rookie of the Year, Juan Flores-Calderón, but he wanted to remind everyone of his talent as the season came to a close. With 8 catches for 284 yards and four touchdowns, he was likely the key player in the Milano Seamen's victory over the Barcelona Dragons. However, his impressive numbers were just short of a record, as Nathaniel Robitaille still holds the record with 286 receiving yards, set in the 2022 game between Rhein Fire and Cologne Centurions.
