Busy week for the Enthroners: Injuries, departures & new faces
Felix Pahl

The Fehérvár Enthroners are making headlines again — this time with multiple roster moves following a tough start to the 2025 ELF season. After placing quarterback Brock Domann on Injured Reserve, the team has now also lost American pass rusher Malik Crenshaw, who is heading to IR as well. That marks two import player injuries in a short span for the Hungarian franchise.
Staying unpredictable: New talent on both sides of the ball
Despite the setbacks, the Enthroners remain committed to their unique roster strategy. To replace Crenshaw, the team has signed Gavin Potter, an experienced linebacker with a strong college résumé. Potter played most recently at Arkansas State, where he recorded 21 tackles and 4 tackles for loss in 2023. Before that, he spent four seasons at Kansas, earning recognition as the 2019 Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year. Across 48 college games, Potter compiled 195 tackles and 15 tackles for loss, bringing plenty of experience and intensity to the Enthroners’ defense.
The Enthroners also made changes on the defensive line, parting ways with E-import Aleksi Olavuo and bringing in Jerry Saitaua Fa’agata, a defensive lineman from New Zealand, to bolster the trenches.
On offense, the Enthroners are turning heads again by signing Jon Cole, a dynamic American wide receiver who played for the Munich Ravens last season before an injury ended his campaign. In 2023, Cole starred for the Kirchdorf Wildcats in the GFL2, catching 40+ passes for over 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns, while also adding over 450 rushing yards and 6 more touchdowns. Dangerous in the return game too, Cole adds versatility and explosiveness.
With Cole’s signing, Fehérvár becomes the only ELF team currently carrying two American wide receivers, showing their willingness to innovate as they continue to build their identity.
