Bravos sign former College and NFL Receiver Aron Cruickshank
The Madrid Bravos will rely even more on NFL experience next season. At the end of October 2024, the team from Spain presented Reid Sinnett, a quarterback who played and trained in the NFL for some time. Now a wide receiver follows.
A-import Aron Cruickshank will line up in the Stampede next season. The 24-year-old wideout spent several months training with the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023.
He previously studied Labor Studies and Employment Relations at Rutgers University of New Jersey. Cruickshank played for the NCAA program in the Big Ten Conference.
For the Scarlet Knights, the US-American was not only convincing as a wide receiver. Cruickshank was repeatedly used in his team's running game. He was also featured in the special team as a returner. With success. Cruickshank made it to the Third Team All-Big Ten and All-ECAC Special Teams in 2022.
In his senior season in college, Cruickshank recorded 42 receptions for 385 yards and two touchdowns. He also had eleven rushing attempts for 115 yards and a touchdown. As a returner, he secured 413 yards.
Despite his young age, Cruickshank can look back on a lot of college football experience. The training sessions in the NFL should not be overlooked either. It will be exciting to see if he can find a connection to QB Sinnett. If so, the Bravos have acquired a dangerous A-import duo.
