Bravos ready to win the big games in style
Felix Pahl

The Madrid Bravos sent a clear message in Week 11: they are here to compete with the very best. After several games this season where they faltered in key moments - like their narrow losses against the Ravens and Raiders earlier in the year - the Bravos showed they can not only win, but dominate when it matters most. Their convincing victory over the Raiders Tirol was more than just another win: it was a statement.
Learning from the past
Earlier in the season, Madrid struggled to close out big games. Their matchups against teams like the Munich Ravens slipped away in the final phases, raising questions about their ability to deliver when the stakes are high. But against the Raiders, they answered those questions with authority. From start to finish, the Bravos executed their game plan with precision, leaving little doubt about their intentions for the rest of the season.
Stars leading the way
Once again, the Bravos’ offensive stars shined. Quarterback Reid Sinnett looked sharp and in control, while wide receiver Aron Cruickshank once again proved why he’s one of the league’s most dangerous playmakers. Against the Raiders, Cruickshank set a new single-season touchdown record, further solidifying his status as one of the ELF’s top weapons. “I’m forever grateful,” Cruickshank said after the game, “but the mission is not complete.”
Rookie running back Justus Seelig also continued his impressive season. His versatility and explosiveness have not only been a game-changer for the Bravos but have also drawn attention from top U.S. college programs - a sign of just how much potential this young talent has.

A coach’s perspective
While the performance against the Raiders was one of the Bravos’ most dominant of the season, Head Coach Weidinger knows there’s still more to be done. “That was good but not good enough,” he said after the game. “We’ve still got work to do.” His words reflect a team that refuses to be complacent, a team focused not just on making the playoffs but on going deep into them.
Eyes on the Playoffs
At 7-3, Madrid is firmly in the playoff race, but their toughest tests are still ahead. With crucial games against the Munich Ravens and Frankfurt Galaxy on the horizon, the Bravos have an opportunity to prove they can beat the league’s best when it matters most. For a franchise with big ambitions, these games will serve as the ultimate measuring stick.
If Madrid can carry their momentum forward and replicate their performance against the Raiders, they could emerge as one of the most dangerous teams in the postseason.
