Brandon Noble becomes Nordic Storm DC

The Nordic Storm of the European League of Football (ELF) have signed former NFL defensive tackle Brandon Noble as their defensive coordinator for the 2025 season.

The 50- year old Noble steps into a new role joining head coach John Schoops' staff in Copenhagen/Mälmo.  Noble’s professional playing career spanned eight years, seven of which were in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, and Washington Redskins, and two years in NFL Europe with the Barcelona Dragons. Noble’s time in Europe has undoubtedly influenced his decision to come back over and coach.

"We want maximize our talent on defense, my job is to build and implement a simple and aggressive defensive system that allows our guys to play with overwhelming speed and violence. Making sure we are improving a little bit, mentally and physically, every time we step on the football field or sit down in a meeting. Our job is to help our individual players get better at the little things during the week that will add up to being a great defensive unit on game day." - Noble

As a coach Noble began coaching at the college level and even spent time with Coastal Carolina and Temple University as a defensive line coach. Since then he’s coached in the USFL and spent last season with Hamburg Sea Devils.
