What a game and what a day for Ben Holmes. The American quarterback for the Vienna Vikings, in his first year with the franchise, continues to shine with strong performances, helping the Vikings enter the Championship Game as undefeated team.

Outstanding performance by Holmes

In the Semifinal against the Paris Musketeers, Holmes was unstoppable. He completed 23 passes for 385 yards and threw 5 touchdown passes, contributing to the majority of his team’s points. Unusually for Holmes, he also played a big role in the Vikings' rushing game. With a powerful 39-yard touchdown run, he delivered a highlight and kept the Vikings in control. His 450 total yards were more than the entire Musketeers team, which managed just 436 yards. Even in tough moments, Holmes remained ice-cold and looked absolutely ready for the final.

Who will face the Vikings?

The opponent for the Vikings in the 2024 Championship Game will be decided between Rhein Fire and Stuttgart Surge. Either matchup will be special for the Vikings, as they have never played Rhein Fire before, while they have unfinished business with the Surge after last season’s Semifinal.
