Barcelona Dragons and Coach David Shelton part ways

The Barcelona Dragons and Head Coach David Shelton have parted ways. This was confirmed by GM Jason Robinson on Friday.

Shelton commented on his departure on Instagram: "I will be stepping down as Head Coach of the Barcelona Dragons effective immediately. I want to thank the amazing fans for the support and dedication. I want to thank my coaching staff, with tireless effort and dedication these men have committed 100% effort to create a learning and development environment for our players."

Saturday against the Ravens

The Dragons are 2-4 after six Game Weeks in the European League of Football.

A successor for the Coach has not yet been announced by the Spanish franchise. The Dragons play at home against the Munich Ravens on Saturday (18:00 CET).
