Ingo Schiller is the new face of the European League of Football. And the first Championship Game immediately left a lasting impression on the new Co-CEO.

"American football is becoming increasingly popular in Germany - millions follow the sport and the numbers are growing. Five years ago, it was unimaginable that more than 30,000 fans would attend a European final and that a power party with 25,000 people would be celebrated beforehand", he said at a Business Panel organized and moderated by SpoBis ahead of the final in Stuttgart.

"Focus even more on partnerships"

The long-standing top manager of the German Bundesliga referred in this context to the early days of Germany's top soccer league: "The ELF is still very young - when the German Bundesliga was four years old, it received a total of 10,000 marks from television."

Schiller also commented on the current situation of the ELF: "In the future, we will focus even more on partnerships so that teams and the league can continue to develop both economically and sporting."

Schober Information Group supported ELF with local marketing in Stuttgart

In addition to Schiller, Martin Bena, senior consultant at Schober Information Group, and Nico Schumacher, senior strategy & marketing manager at MRM Distribution, participated in the panel.

Bena's company Schober actively supported the ELF with local marketing in Stuttgart, helping to attract spectators for the grand final. Schober holds around 60 million consumer and company data records and, using its AI software "udo", can deploy these data sets specifically for customers to optimize campaigns and media plans.

MRM Distribution equipped ELF coaching staff with tablets

Schumacher's company MRM equipped the ELF coaching staff with Microsoft Surface tablets during the past season. What's special about this is that both the tablets and the Microsoft Office software on them are refurbished. "Green licensing" - that's MRM's business model.

"Microsoft licensing can be implemented sustainably and without increasing costs with MRM", said Schumacher, whose product is aimed at corporate customers. "As a specialist distributor, MRM offers all partners suitable solutions that are tailored to their individual needs."
