All-Star WR Aaron Jackson joins Helvetic Mercenaries
The Helvetic Mercenaries have made a blockbuster signing, adding All-Star receiver Aaron Jackson to their squad. Jackson has been one of the league's most dynamic receivers and return men since entering the ELF in 2023.
The Mercenaries make perhaps the biggest move of the off-season so far, luring Jackson away from Berlin, where he spent the past two seasons. The 29-year-old led the league in receiving yards with 76 catches for 1,229 yards and 11 touchdowns. He did so while adding another four rushing touchdowns, earning himself the honor of first team ELF All-Star.
Jackson was also nominated for the "offensive player of the year award". On special teams, he also had three kick return touchdowns, giving him 18 on the season. The veteran lead the ELF in return yards with an impressive 1,045 yards.

In 2023, Aaron “Action” Jackson made 67 catches for 886 yards and 15 touchdowns in Berlin’s offense. He also had three return touchdowns and 1,316 total return yards.
Whether it's by catching the ball, returning kicks, or running wildcat quarterback, the Helvetic Mercenaries have brought a dynamic player in Aaron Jackson to Switzerland. Expect the Mercenaries to have a talented quarterback leading their squad in 2025 if they were able to convince Jackson to join them.
So far, the Mercenaries have already signed head coach Marcus Herford and defensive coordinator Michael Wood as they hope to build on a 1-11 record in 2024.
