26 years of NFL experience! Wade Harman becomes new Bravos O-Line coach
The Madrid Bravos are bringing more NFL experience to the European League of Football. Wade Harman becomes the new offensive line coach of the team from Spain. The 61-year-old coached until 2023 and can look back on many years in the NFL.
"We continue to add pieces to the puzzle. The signing of a coach with as much experience as Wade Harman is key for the development of our franchise", says general manager Jaime Martín. He adds: "The offensive line has always been one of our priorities, and we are sure that under Harman, our players will perform at their highest level."
Harman therefore brings a lot of experience to the Bravos. The US-American began his coaching career at the University of Utah as a graduate assistant. Just one year later, he became running backs and tight ends coach.
In college football, he also coached at the FBS University of the Pacific and at Morningside University in Iowa. Here, Harman was even offensive coordinator. In 1997, he took his first job in the NFL.
He spent two years as an assistant coach for the Minnesota Vikings. This was followed by positions for the Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos. Harman coached mainly as tight ends and offensive line coach. In 2023, he became a senior assistant with the Miami Dolphins.
Harman coached in the NFL for a total of 26 years. During this time, he won the Super Bowl twice. With the Ravens in 2001 and 2013.
