15,000 Tickets sold for ELF Championship Game - "Die Fantastischen Vier" to perform at halftime

The European League of Football has hit another big milestone on its way to the biggest American football event in Europe this year. Just ten days before the 2025 season kicks off, and still over four months before the Championship Game on September 7th, more than 15,000 tickets have already been sold.

Fans are excited not only for the battle between the two best teams in Europe, but also for the halftime concert by famous German hip-hop group "Die Fantastischen Vier". The legendary band from Stuttgart will perform a special show in the Cannstatter Kurve of the Stuttgarter MHP Arena.

Aiming to break all-time attendance record

"We are very happy. Selling 15,000 tickets already shows the strong power of our league", said ELF CEO Zeljko Karajica. "We still aim to break the all-time attendance record for a football game in Europe." The current record is 48,125 fans at the World Bowl 2007 in Frankfurt. The biggest ELF game so far had 41,364 fans at the 2024 final in Gelsenkirchen. Now, Stuttgart wants to break that record and become the new home of football history.

ELF Commissioner Patrick Esume added, "I still get goosebumps thinking about Gelsenkirchen. But now we want to go even bigger in Stuttgart. With the fans and Die Fantastischen Vier, this will be a true football festival!"

Sixteen teams from nine countries will compete this season:

From Germany: Rhein Fire, Berlin Thunder, Hamburg Sea Devils, Munich Ravens, Stuttgart Surge, Frankfurt Galaxy, Cologne Centurions

From Austria: Vienna Vikings, Raiders Tirol

And further on: Fehérvár Enthroners (Hungary), Panthers Wroclaw (Poland), Prague Lions (Czech Republic), Helvetic Mercenaries (Switzerland), Madrid Bravos (Spain), Paris Musketeers (France), and newcomer Nordic Storm (Denmark).

Which two teams will meet in the final? That will be decided in the regular season and playoffs – but one thing is clear: Stuttgart is ready for a football celebration like never before.
