Vienna Vikings re-sign Swiss army knife Exavier Edwards

The Vienna Vikings have re-signed last year’s all-purpose weapon, Exavier Edwards.

With Exavier Edwards, the Vienna Vikings bring back one of the best weapons on the offensive and defensive side. Edwards joined the Vikings in 2022 for their first year competing in the European League of Football – winning the Championship Game right away.

A weapon on the football field!

"Words can't describe what Ex brings to the field for the Vikings Franchise. Obviously he makes a difference in all three phases of the game, but it is the energy that he brings to the field and to our family here in Vienna. If you haven't had a chance to see this man play, make a point of getting to the stadium to watch #7 in 2023," Chris Calaycay said.

The former Midland University All-GPAC 1st-Team kick returner and defensive back, played running back and safety for the Vikings. He produced 113 yards and five touchdowns as a running back and 45 total tackles, one tackle for loss, and two interceptions in eleven games as a defensive back.

Have you seen this yet?

Exavier Edwards on his re-signing: „I decided to resign with Vienna because the main reason for me was simply the teammates which I call my brothers. At Vienna this past season was a true brotherhood so why not make another run at it again. I love the whole organization, and the city of Vienna has definitely been welcoming. I’m blessed for this situation and ready to go back to work with my brothers and the great coaching staff in the 2023 season!"
