Former ELF DROY Marcel Dabo re-signs with the Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts have signed German defensive back Marcel Dabo to a Futures Reserve Contract for the 2025 season, giving the Colts the rights to Dabo for the 2025 season.
For the 24-year old, 2025 will be his fourth season in the NFL all with the Colts. Dabo is a part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program allowing him to be part of a teams Practice squad without counting toward the player limit.
Dabo has spent the last three seasons on the Colts practice squad improving each season as he hopes to make the jump to the gameday roster in 2025.
Before joining the NFL, Dabo was a standout defender for the Stuttgart Surge in the ELF’s inaugural season. Dabo who was only 21 years old at the time earned Defensive Rooke of the Year award in 2021 with 22 tackles, a interception, and a kick return touchdown.
