"Steady development of the sport of American football"

"I am looking forward to the whole team as well as the upcoming tasks with the Helvetic Guards. Likewise, I am very grateful to be able to continue to contribute to the steady development of the sport of American football in Switzerland. My personal goal is to build a long-term, successful program with the Helvetic Guards!" Jörg Behrendt said.

Toni Zoeller, GM of the Guards, is excited about the step: "I am overjoyed to have Jörg on board. With his expertise and experience both as a businessman and in American football, he will be a key factor in the future success of the Helvetic Guards franchise."

Behrendt is a father and businessman who was previously active in the football club Luzern Lions as sponsor and founder of the club Emmen Dragons.
