The top ELF off-season moves of January

January is officially behind us and it was one of the most exciting months of the off-season. Several ELF teams made enormous moves that will be crucial decisions for the upcoming season.

Let’s take a look at some of the month’s top moves

Jack Del Rio to Paris Musketeers

You might’ve guessed this is my top choice as the former NFL head coach comes to the ELF after 30+ seasons of coaching and playing in the NFL. Can the Super Bowl Champion now help the Musketeers hoist the championship trophy in Europe?

Jag Bal to Berlin

The Thunder need a veteran coach who can lead them through a transitional season. Jag Bal has coached with the best teams in Europe and on the other hand shown the ability to lead a team through adversity. Look for the veteran Canadian coach to bring stability to the Thunder in his return to the German Capital.

Brzozowski’s back

If Dawid Brzozowski left the Panthers, it might feel like when Saquan Barkley left the Giants to go to the Eagles. The Panthers didn’t make that mistake and made sure their young star stays at home for 2025. Look for the league’s best homegrown running back to continue to be a star for the Polish squad.

Tomiwa Oyewo to the Surge

The Stuttgart Surge have been the quiet person in the room so far this off-season. However this past month they reminded the league that they have championship goals, signing one of the league’s best running backs in Tomiwa Oyewo. The Irish running back is going into his third ELF season with big expectations as he could be dominant behind a talented Surge offensive line.

NFL WR for a NFL QB

One of the league’s most hyped newcomers is no doubt former NFL and Big Ten receiver Aron Cruickshank. The New York native spent time with the Wisconsin Badgers and Rutgers Scarlet KNights at the highest level of college football, racking up 3,832 all-purpose yards and 12 total touchdowns. Cruickshank spent time in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers before coming to the ELF. He should be a go to target for new Bravos QB and former NFL passer Reid Sinnett.
