Hamburg Sea Devils sign ELF playmaker Terryon Robinson

This offseason, the Hamburg Sea Devils surprised their fans and the European League of Football with some splash moves. In addition to Head Coach Shuan Fatah, the team from the North Division signed three-time Defensive Player of the Year Kyle Kitchens.

Now the Hamburgers are bringing an old friend of their new defensive star into the team. Wide receiver Terryon Robinson signed a one-year deal with the Sea Devils. The US import and Kitchens know each other from their younger years together in the States. The two attended fourth grade together.

Stud at Western Carolina University

They later played together at Decatur High School. “He's like a brother,” Robinson says about Kitchens. After his time in high school, Robinson transferred to Western Carolina University (NCAA D1). Here, the wideout performed fantastically, making him the school's all-time leading receiver.

Robinson finished his college career with 230 receptions, 2,839 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns. Performances that he was able to build on in the European League of Football.

Reliable ELF starter

The now 30-year-old made his ELF debut in 2022 for the Istanbul Rams. This was followed by a year with the Cologne Centurions and another with the Helvetic Mercenaries. In total, the US receiver made 20 ELF games, completing all of them as a starter. He caught 122 passes for 1731 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Robinson is looking forward to the new challenge: “ Extremely excited to join one of the best cultures and fan bases in the ELF. Looking forward to starting the journey of re-establishing the Sea Devils as a force moving forward. Ready to show what it means to be QB Friendly!”
