Prague Lions sign British tight end Eden Thiede-Palmer
The Prague Lions have signed former Durham Saints and London Blitz tight end Eden Thiede-Palmer for the 2023 season. With 1,98 m of height and just 22-years old, the Brit participated in the CFL Combine last year, also being honored as "Offensive Player of the Year" for the Saints.
“After lots of work, including speaking with several coaches from the UK, we are excited to sign Eden. The consensus was that he catches everything, blocks like a tackle and is hungry to prove himself. This is exactly what we want to add to our team!”, said head coach Zach Harrod.

The big target is eager to join the best league in Europe, now taking his talent to the Czech Republic. For quarterback Shazzon Mumphrey, weapons are being stacked. Next to Thiede-Palmer, wide receivers Josef Janota, Lukáš Kadlec, Aymeric Nicault or Victor Wharton III will line up on the field. As the preseason arrives, more and more talents find themselves in the best rosters all over Europe. In the Eastern Conference, the Prague Lions will face high competition with Vienna Vikings or Berlin Thunder.
