Vikings Reece Horn: "We know what we bring to the table"
The Vienna Vikings and Rhein Fire are set to meet on September 22nd for the ELF Championship. Nick Alfieri and Matt Bressington broke down the Championship matchup on Tuesday's episode of "ELF Live". The hosts had quick chats with Rhein Fire players Kelvin McKnight Jr and Marloshawn Franklin Jr, along with Vienna Vikings receiver Reece Horn.
Horn had a standout game against the Paris Musketeers catching 8 passes for 167 yards and a 59 yard touchdown as the Vikings defeated Paris in the Semifinals earning their second trip to the ELF title game.
"Time stopped for a second there when I was waiting for ball to drop. Shoutout to coach Max Sommer for drawing that play up. It was a tight game. Paris didn't back down, it was back and forth for a while. Anyway I can help my team with and help get us some matchups and get a win I’m happy with”, said Reece Horn.
In regards of Viennas upcoming opponent, Horn amended: "There were not good weather conditions in their game. But good teams always find a team to win. In playoff football you can’t let good teams hang around. They are so well coached with Jim Tomsula. They have some great guys on that side of the ball."
He reported, what it takes to win the title: "Offensively we have to establish the run first and do what we do. Some people might be overlooking the Vikings and that is what it is. We know what we bring to the table."
If you want to be part of these exciting discussions and hot takes from our hosts, tune in on Saturday for the next episode of the "ELF Live" show, where we’ll look ahead to the ELF Championship Game.
