"Game-changer": Nordic Storm present new co-owner

After an impressive offseason, Nordic Storm is about to play their first game in franchise history. But even before that, there are reasons to celebrate. To drive the development of the franchise forward, the team from Denmark/Sweden has announced a new co-owner and board member.

Stephen Schueler's main task in future will be to advance American relations for the team. The current Chief Executive Officer of Enerjen Capital, a leading renewable clean energy company specializing in the maritime sector, is also President of The American Club in Denmark. The organization specializes in strengthening cultural and business ties between the United States and Denmark.

"I'm honored to join Nordic Storm and contribute to the growth of American football in Denmark," said Schueler. "This opportunity combines my passion for sports, leadership, and my strong personal connection to Denmark. I’m excited to help build something truly special with the Nordic Storm."

He has a very special relationship with Denmark. His great-grandfather served as the U.S. Ambassador to Denmark from 1870 to 1881 and to Switzerland from 1881 to 1885.

Nordic Storm is set to play its first game on May 18th in Switzerland, with its highly anticipated first home game in Copenhagen on June 1st at Gladsaxe Stadium.
