Berlin Thunder secure services of Robin Wilzeck for 2024

He's found home. Robin Wilzeck, homegrown hero and deep threat, returns for a third season in the German capital. The speedster was re-signed by the Berlin Thunder and is the second major re-signing after also bringing back Kyle Kitchens to the 2024 roster. With 60 receptions for 947 yards and seven touchdowns, the 24-year-old ranked third in receiving yards in 2023, despite some uncertainty at the quarterback position.

Local deep threat

Matching up against the top defensive backs in the league, he helped the Thunder to make their first playoff-appearance in three years. Wilzeck was nominated for the Homegrown of the Year award next to Louis Geyer and Dawid Brzozowski, falling short in the end. An award that he could certainly attack next year, as well.
