Raiders sign former XFL defensive back Divine Buckrham

The last American Import player of all franchises has been found. The Raiders of the European League of Football have signed former San Antonio Brahmas player Divine Buckrham.

Raiders sign former XFL defensive back Divine Buckrham

The last American Import player of all franchises has been found. The Raiders of the European League of Football have signed former San Antonio Brahmas player Divine Buckrham.

The Raiders Tirol have found their last missing piece on defense. For the defensive backfield, the Austrian franchise has signed Divine Buckrham. The former XFL and GFL player is looking for another opportunity in Europe. At 24-years-old, with 1,83 m and 89 kg, Buckrham played in six games for the Brahmas in the XFL. In 2022, he was active for the Potsdam Royals in the GFL, where he amassed 73 tackles, three interceptions and 10 deflected passes. The US-American is a product of Kiski School, Lehigh and Lamar University, playing in the Division I FCS.

Kevin Herron: "I am very happy to have another experienced DB in our ranks with Divine. With his athleticism and game experience, he will be an integral and important part of our pass defense. Welcome Divine and GO RAIDERS!"

Divine Buckrham: "When I got off the plane, I could already feel the winning mentality of the city and the team. It's an honor to be here, and I'm really looking forward to the new season. In the end, I want to win the championship trophy with the RAIDERS!"

Buckrham will line up alongside talented players like Christoph Nitzlnader, Vincent Müller, Ja’Len Embry or Mayerhofer.
