Nordic Storm bring in last import
Florian Puth

Nordic Storm has announced their latest import for the coming season. The young franchise from Copenhagen has signed Emmanuel Falola.
The 27-year-old Briton joins the Storm's linebacker group. "Looking forward to playing in Copenhagen and giving my best every day for the City,” says Falola. The British player joins a number of promising signings who make Storm look like a new force even before their first season in the European League of Football. Potential that Falola also sees: “I believe in the team and coaches that have been put together, and I am excited to be a part of it. I love to play football and I love to win. I am excited to do this in the great city of Copenhagen. Go Storm!!!”
Falola already knows the league. He joined Rhein Fire last season. He appeared in two games as a substitute for the current ELF champions. Before his time in the ELF, Falola made a name for himself in the British Football League with the Bristol Aztecs. There, he played a crucial role in the defense during the 2022 playoff run.
Emmanuel Falola was selected in the CFL Draft
His impressive physical skills and explosive tacklings caught the attention of NFL and CFL scouts. This resulted in him being selected by the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League draft.
Falola now meets some familiar faces at Nordic Storm. One of them is head coach John Shoop. The former NFL coach was quarterback coach at Rhein Fire last season. Here he coached Jadrian Clark, who, like star running back Glen Toonga, also moved to Nordic Storm.
