Wroclaw Panthers release American quarterback, replace Division I wide receiver

The Wroclaw Panthers have released their American quarterback Nik Rango three weeks before the regular season kicks off!

The Wroclaw Panthers offense just took a huge hit with the release of American quarterback Nik Rango just three weeks before the 2023 regular season kicks off. So far, the franchise has not named a particular reason why it released their quarterback for the 2023 season. The Polish franchise also announced the release of American wide receiver Brenton Martin because of an injury. He will be replaced by former Division I wideout Tony Tate, as the franchise announced on social media.

HAVE YOU SEEN THIS YET?

Tate is a smaller wide receiver at 177cm and 84kg but takes advantage of his speed and agility. The former Division I player produced almost 600 receiving yards and three touchdowns in his last season with Western Illinois back in 2021. Now, he joins the Panthers as a replacement for an injured Brenton Martin.

Panthers release quarterback before Week 1 once again

Back in 2021, the Panthers have also released their American quarterback Cody Williams before the start of the regular season. Overall, the Polish franchise now had six American quarterbacks under contract throughout a timespan of two years.

If the franchise signs an American quarterback for the 2023 season, it will be their seventh American quarterback under contract since joining the European League of Football in 2021.
