Vienna Vikings to host games in the Hohe Warte
After announcing to play their first home game in the Generali Arena in Vienna, the Hohe Warte is the other stadium to host games.
The Vienna Vikings announce to play their home games against the Leipzig Kings (June 24), the Wrocław Panthers (July 15) and Berlin Thunder (July 22) in the Stadium Hohe Warte. Their home opener will be played in the Generali Arena against the Prague Lions.
"Wherever we play in 2023, that's where the Champions play! In the European League ofFootball, we are undefeated in Vienna. And we plan on remaining unbeaten in our hometown. I am looking very much forward to the games at Hohe Warte. Of course, I have special memories of this historic venue. I celebrated great Vikings wins at Hohe Warte, and I'd like to add some more victories to that list this season." said head coach Chris Calaycay, who has celebrated numerous victories at Hohe Warte both as a player and as a coach.
"On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Vikings, we are spanning an arc from the glorious past to the promising future, which has also significantly influenced our decision regarding the stadiums for our home games this year. The successful Vikings' tradition book will grow by further chapters - written on almost historic football fields - in 2023. We want to write three victorious chapters on the Hohe Warte. We are very much looking forward to the home games in Döbling. Where we play the last two regular season home games against Innsbruck and Fehervar, we will announce in time," Robin Lumsden, co-owner, Vienna Vikings.
The one-way tickets start at 10 Euro via ticketmaster.at.
