Berlin Thunder sign NFL-Combine-attendee Robin Wilzeck

The Berlin Thunder are stacking up their roster further and further. With Robin Wilzeck comes one of Germany's top-talents on wide receiver from Dresden.

After the signing of Quarterback Joe Germinerio and the re-signing of both Jocques Crawford and Nicolai Schumann on offense, Robin Wilzeck will build another aspect to the game. Wilzeck is fast, dynamic and is without a doubt one of the best German receivers. The 22-year old athlete was invited to last year's NFL International Scouting Combine in London for a reason. With 961 yards and 13 touchdowns, he was the second most productive receiver for the Dresden Monarchs in the highest German club-championship and won a national title with them.

Now, he will be featured in an uprising franchise on the highest European level.

"I am mega hyped for the coming year. It's going to be a new challenge and I'm going to grow a lot. We will take Berlin all the way to the playoffs and I will do my part. Feel the Thunder!"

Statement from Berlin Thunder Head Coach Johnny Schmuck about his new weapon: "That Robin has signed with us makes us very happy and proud. He is the type of player that you would like to have 50 of as a coach. He is one of the most talented players in Germany, yet relies more on his hard work than his talent. He's also an absolute team player who still has enough egoism to take the next step. He made his mark in the GFL last year and will do the same in the European League of Football. This year he has already been invited to the NFL International Combine and that is exactly the category of players he belongs in. We will support him where we can to achieve his goals. An absolute asset to our franchise and another step in the right direction!"

After the signing of Björn Werner as director of sports, things are looking well for the Berlin Thunder next season.
