Top Storylines for Saturday’s Week 3 Games
Felix Pahl

As we head into Week 3 of the European League of Football, every game starts to matter more. Saturday brings four exciting matchups across the league, featuring teams still looking for their first win, key injury replacements, and battles that could shape the playoff race early in the season.
Prague Lions at Fehérvár Enthroners - 15:00 CET
Who Gets Their First Win?
Both the Lions and the Enthroners are still searching for their first victory of the 2025 season. This game is a must-win for both sides. The Prague Lions suffered a tough loss against the Sea Devils in Week 2. Poor discipline and a weak run defense led to their defeat. The Enthroners, meanwhile, were beaten badly by the Vienna Vikings and lost their starting quarterback Brock Domann to injury. Now, homegrown quarterback Máté Hegedüs will step up and try to lead his team to their first win in front of their home fans.
Raiders Tirol at Cologne Centurions - 17:00 CET
Time to Respond
The Raiders bounced back in Week 2 with a big win over the Helvetic Mercenaries, even after losing their quarterback Conor Miller early in the game. Their running backs carried the offense and dominated. The Centurions had a bye in Week 2, giving them extra time to prepare. After their heavy Week 1 loss to the Berlin Thunder, they are ready to respond and show that they belong in the competition.

Stuttgart Surge at Hamburg Sea Devils - 18:00 CET
A Test of Strength
Stuttgart Surge wants to bounce back after their surprising loss to Paris in Week 2, where their offense struggled for the first time this season. Their strong defense will be tested again, this time by the Sea Devils' powerful rushing attack and new quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa. Hamburg is coming off a big win and will try to prove they are a real playoff contender in their first home game.
Helvetic Mercenaries at Madrid Bravos - 20:00 CET
Back on Track?
The Mercenaries are still trying to find their rhythm. Too many penalties, timing issues in the passing game, and an inconsistent defense have cost them so far. Madrid Bravos, on the other hand, want to recover from their Week 2 shootout loss against the Frankfurt Galaxy and move back to a winning record. While Madrid is the favorite, the Mercenaries will fight hard and won’t make it easy.
Plenty of action, strong matchups, and exciting storylines await this Saturday. With key games all day long, fans won't want to miss a minute of Week 3.
