Marc Mattioli stays head coach of the Paris Musketeers

After a convincing season, the Paris Musketeers are sticking with Head Coach Marc Mattioli. The US coach will continue his successful work in the French capital and stays for the 2025 season.

"The Paris Musketeers are a first class organization that I am proud to be the Head Coach of. We have begun the work in our offseason strength program and recruiting, both of which will be critical to our improvement as a team", Mattioli says about the extention. "He adds: "We don't talk about "unfinished business," we talk about continual growth and development. That is what we have been about since day one when we started this team two years ago, and I am looking forward to continuing that process every day with an amazing group of players and coaches."

Mattioli coached at multiple colleges in the US, including Division I programs like Stanford and Vanderbilt. In 2021 he took over the Parma Panthers, where he led the team to their first Italian Bowl title since 2013. In 2022 he joined the Paris Musketeers.

Under him, the French team went 10-2 last season, finishing second in the Western Conference and reaching the semi-finals, where they were defeated by the Vienna Vikings.
