German wide receiver Enrico Pascual signs with Stuttgart Surge
The German franchise finds another dangerous weapon to pair up with pass catcher Noah Bomba and starting quarterback Randall Schroeder!
The Stuttgart Surge sign German wide receiver and former Schwäbisch Hall Unicorn Enrico Pascual, as reported by the franchise.
“I signed with the Surge to take the next step in my football career”, Pascual explained his decision to sign with the Stuttgart Surge, via the team’s press release. He added: “I watched the Surge games last season. I was excited to see them play. I already know most of the players as well because I played with them together in the U19 team for Stuttgart”.
The 21-year-old athlete started his football career with the Ludwigsburg Bulldogs in 2014 and recorded 950 receiving yards and six touchdowns for the Unicorns in 2018. “It is my personal goal to be part of the International Player Pathway Program to make a next step towards the NFL. And I also want to win a championship with the Surge”, Pascual commented, according to the team’s press release.
Surge head coach Martin Hanselmann also weighed in on signing Pascual to his offense, via the team’s press release: “Enrico [Pascual] came to one of our try outs. We were immediately impressed by his speed and were sure that he could be a strong player in our passing attack”. Hanselmann added: “We are looking forward to have Enrico [Pascual] on our team”.
