Ogbevoen brothers will be the league’s best linebacker duo

There are many outstanding linebackers and linebacker duos in the European League of Football. Whether it is Nasri and Achaintre in Frankfurt, Wentland and Schroedter in Leipzig, or Kensy and Ruoss at Rhein Fire, just to name a few. And while I think that Rhein Fire has the overall best linebacker group in the league, there is a duo that is standing out for me.

Precious and Lucky Ogbevoen will raise havoc among opposing offenses. After Precious joined the Tirol Raiders, the duo will play together for the first time in the European League of Football in 2023. Both of them have been difference makers for their team last season and they offer a lot of upsides as a duo. Having playstyles that complement each other’s skillsets with Precious’ pass rush qualities will go a long way for the brothers.

If they can stay healthy, I predict them to have a more than a combined 160 tackles, 7.5 sacks and 25 tackles for loss, when the regular season is over. Add three interceptions and forced fumbles into the mix and you got yourself a well-balanced and versatile duo that will lead the way for the Raiders’ mission to make it back to the playoffs. Numbers are not everything of course, but I am convinced that them playing together combined with Precious’ experience will give the Raiders a push in the right direction.
