Munich Ravens sign offensive lineman Marlon Werthmann

The Munich Ravens have pulled off one last big coup on the transfer market!

The Munich Ravens have pulled off one last big coup on the transfer market, shortly before the start of the first training camp on April 20: Offensive lineman Marlon Werthmann joins the Bavarian franchise in the European League of Football for the 2024 season.

"Best interior offensive linemen in Europe"

Sean Shelton, Sports Director of the Munich Ravens: "Marlon has been one of the best interior offensive linemen in Europe for several years - and he's still in his early 20s. Without question, he will strengthen our offensive line, which will be the driving force of our offense."

Marlon Werthmann: "I decided to play for the Munich Ravens this season because the organization looks professional, and you couldn't ask for a better offensive line room in Europe. I'm looking forward to dominating other teams with my teammates and having a successful season."

From Stuttgart Surge to Munich Ravens

The 22-year-old was already part of the NFL's International Pathway Program, but did not sign with any team in 2022. He then played for Stuttgart in the ELF last season. He is currently also in the squad for the German national team. A few weeks ago, Werthmann completed a tryout in front of scouts from almost all NFL teams at the University of Wisconsin.
