Fehérvár Enthroners sign wide receiver Jay Griffin IV

The Fehérvár Enthroners have signed former New Mexico State wide receiver Jay Griffin IV for 2023. Griffin is 24 years old and brings exceptional speed. In college, he ran track, being Mountain West Champion in the 200 m sprint in 2019 and 2020. Playing for both New Mexico State (2018 to 2020) and Northwestern State (2021), Griffin IV is happy to play for the Enthroners this upcoming season.
"Win more Championships"
“First, I want to thank God. I am blessed to be a part of the Enthroners family, and I am looking forward to meeting all my teammates, fans, coaches, and the rest of the Enthroners family. The culture and history around the team stood out to me right away, and I am excited to be a part of it. Now it’s time to make more history and win more championships!” Griffin said.

Exceptional football talent
With New Mexico State, Griffin caught 63 passes for 679 yards and four touchdowns, as well as 137 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown in his three seasons. For the Demons of North Western, he then caught 548 yards and five touchdowns in just eleven games. The 1,80 m athlete could be one of the fastest players of 2023. Combining his talent with quarterback Gabriel Cunningham, running back Kende Ráthonyi or other wide receiver Benjamin Plu, could result in an explosive offense – while the OC position is still vacant.
