Felix Pahl

Stuttgart Surge wide receiver Michael Harley Jr. could hardly hide his emotions after lifting the ELF Championship trophy. In an interview with First Down Magazine, the American playmaker looked back on his journey with the team and what made the title so meaningful.
One mission, accomplished
"I’m just excited, just happy," Harley Jr. said right after the game. "I came here with one mission and we accomplished that, so I feel great." For him, the championship was not only the end of a successful season but also the reward for months of hard work and sacrifice with his teammates.
Praise for Louis Geyer
A big part of the Surge success was wide receiver Louis Geyer, who delivered a historic performance in the final with three touchdowns and earned the MVP title. Harley Jr. was full of praise for his teammate: "I mean he’s so good, I had options to go other places but just teaming up with him, that one-two punch and with Big Cognac (Reilly Hennessey) we had to make it happen. I’m happy for him because he’s from Stuttgart, this is his hometown, and I know it meant a lot to him."
